I agree. Taking political threads out of the P&P is ridiculous. Think again please guys, this is silly.

I like the distinction. Maybe this way, the fools who know nothing about either topic will never navigate themselves to this section?

Never again will I be chastised for only posting about such topics!

My only gripe is that I no longer know which threads I've read......grrr

Hmmm... I agree at the very least, the problem with splitting the pie & piston into different bars, is the only reason to come into it is if you have an interest in it, many don't, that's trouble, it makes for ghetto-isation, while with one big forum, while theres loads of stuff im not interested, you come across things you ordinarily would have passed you by, which turn out to quite interesting.
I could be outraged at something I'd not really be interested in the same way if I overheard some crashing bore talking utter bks in a pub, I might just be spurred into putting a different view, because I'm there and have been afronted (I may have made that word up).
While it is now, I might not bother, simply cos I won't be trolling through a lot forums, which I have the vaguest interest in.

Sure that's the case for many, interesting views will be lost.

I agree, although by no means a huge issue, the constant hitting of the back button to keep up with the different threads (now spread accross several forums!)is a pain!

I agree with that.

I'm not interested in politics generally (only found this as I was browsing all the new sub forums to get a "feel for it") but now and again there is (has been) a debate that interests me and I've aired my opinion.

I doubt that will happen much now.

Another voice of concern here ,going through what has been moved into this forum I would say that the bulk of it is news rather than a political or economic discussion

Couple of points in case MP's extravagant expenses claims and what Blair is earning on the speaking circuit.

Well clearly PH has been taken under government control under terrorism laws for displaying views that don't support the party way.

Now if you all start worshiping Winky like he gets off and Obama we might all be okay and get our P&P back.

This is crap. Separating news from politics is a bit silly.
