Hi,

Where is the best place to look at how the Euro is doing compaired to the Uk Pound.

Going to Cannes in June and wanting to keep an eye on it!

What are predictions? Will the exchange rate change to help us Brits going to Euro zones?

Cheers,

My prediction is that predictions tend to be hopeless at predicting what is going to happen

Don't bother trying to watch and predict currency fluctuations. Even the professionals will tell you that it is virtually impossible to accurately predict how things will go, especially £vsEuro.

It can't get much worse!

Yes, the mid-term forecast is for it to return to the 1.25 level it was stable at for most of last year. Some of the Euro economies are in dire straits (Ireland and Spain being two)

According to the Irish pundit on Newsnight last night, they are still in better shape than we are.

FWIW I bought 100 euros last week and it cost me £103.
