I've sold a £650k house in less than 2 weeks. Hearing many experiences of friend's houses selling, people buying houses and, most recently, properties in Florida (where the bottom has surely been called)lasting less than a day and having to pay 15%+ over asking - is this a bear trap or was the news of our demise slightly premature?

Are you saying that Florida has reached a bottom?

Or priced according to the market! Anything will sell at the right price, special stuff will sell at a higher price.

we've recently bought a house, It had been on sale 12 months at a higher price, its now fallen to a price we belive is sensible,

I can afford the mortgage and im not interested in how much it is worth for the next 10 years or so.

This is UK BTW

From the limited anecdotal I have, it would anecdotally seem that way smile
