Pre-emptive assault. I'm no lawyer, but I'm fairly sure it's legal provided you had enough evidence.

But all his mates pleaded guilty!, pretty sure they were guilty and not paid by Gerrard to take the pressure off his case.

Wonder what the verdict would have been if he was tried in Manchester.
