Looks like an L115A3 so it's probably a year or 2 old?

Im not sure if its a good idea to publish the 2 snipers names and faces then confirm they got kills.

Brilliant read!

When i've read this one, i'm going to read the previous one.

My brother is just joining the Army.. So he'll read this too.

For some reason it excites me, and I wish I could go there but I wouldn't be up to it I don't think.

Very compelling, and only serves to reinforce my admiration for those serving in our name and harden my contempt for the cretins in Westminster.

Very interesting, tough course to go on for a sniper as I recall.

Will bookmark that site thanks.

Its a shame about his paragraph at the end, I would have liked to read more about the British too.

Another good site for analysis of the Afghan and Iraq conflict. Raises some interesting points about the quality of the military leadership and tactics currently employed in Afghanistan, as well as predicting in advance the shooting down of the Chinook due to the increased Taliban activity in the area.

Read Michael Yon's archive. His reports from Iraq are equally as powerful.

Is that not just critizing everything out there?

The real worry is most of it is valid.

Another post, this time very complimentary about the UK armed forces, but not about their capability in COIN operations. Makes a depressing read. Especially considering the growing body count.

A scary read, more and more stories coming out of Afghanistan about incompetence. Where is this deadly circus going to end ?
