The PH Tory boys are uncharacteristically quiet. Should we be surprised?!

If he's done wrong , then string him up.

However, we don't know what he was claiming for - all that's been said is he claimed upto £3.2K a month which was paid to a private company. If that company was providing hime with , for example, secretarial & office services it may actually be a legit thing to do. Not necessarily in the spirit of the rules (especially if he owns the company), but in terms of the cash laid out to provide those services, not necessarily more expensive than employing staff & paying them directly. Presumably channeling it through a company might avoid him having to pay employers NI or something similar.

However there also seem to be some question marks over the company itself re registration & filing of accounts etc. But it could be its just a small partnership or even a sole trader with a "name"

Smells more like clever tax planning rather than anything else at the moment & I'd argue that tax avoidance (as opposed to tax evasion) is every man's right!

AFAIS the guy has done nothing wrong! He paid his expenses to the company who supplied a service to him (his own). However I can understand it'd be misunderstood by the voting public...
BUT it's all a diversionary tactic!! Ms Smith has deliberately defrauded the country to the tune of £116000,- (lied about her sisters room, which she used as her first residence, to pay for renovations to her actual home) and she gets a feckin whitewash by Labour?
That beatch should be pilloried and refused any chance of EVER getting into the Lords...........
