As we often say "You couldn't make it up." This guy was making coffee at 5:30am when some passer-by and her kid decided to take offence.

Sounds like an invasion of privacy...

edit: FFS, "in order for it to be a crime, they have to prove - the state and police - have to prove that he knew those people were there when he was standing there." Even if the sod knew they were there, its not like it was rubbing one off, he was making coffee.

How can anyone seriously think that walking past someone's private house in the wee hours, looking into said house and seeing a naked bloke is HIS fault? And then proceed to fk their life up? She should be fined and cautioned for wasting time.

What was this woman and her youg kid doing roaming the streets at 5.30am?

Also, if you're inside a well lit kitchen, and outside is pitch black, you aren't going to be able to see jack st outside your window.

And should be well aware everyone outside can see in. I agree though, ridiculous arrest.

Surely the woman should be arrested for being a peeping tom?

Christ. I walk around my house in the wee hours in the buff. There is even a window that someone might catch a fleeting glimpse of me through.

Their problem, frankly.

A possible more likely story - She was enjoying the view, he caught her stareing, in fear that he would call the police she called first, getting her son (through bribery) to say he saw it too...

She shouldnt have been looking in his window.

5:30am, so dark outside and really bright (presumably) inside?

So that would mean the windows are, when viewed from the inside, effectively mirrors?

I think we all know what this guy was looking at "out" the window...

Heard this on the radio earlier, it said the woman and her child were actually walking across the mans lawn.

Surely that's trespassing or something?! If they had to go onto his lawn to see him then he should be suing them!

Was he just making coffee, or was he a cereal offender?

In the land of the free the one thing that terrifies them more than anything is nudity. It's the same on their TV - any amount of violence is fine, but show a little limp dick? The world would end like it did when Janet Jackson commited 'NippleGate'. hehe

Apparently he is considering it.

He should. That will teach her for being such a cretin!

And anyway, what was she doing walking around with a kid (albeit, 'her' kid) at 5:30 in the morning?

Maybe she thought he was "ahem" but was in fact just shaking his beans.

I love the yanks.
In times like these, where we haven't got much to be cheerful about as a nation they're priceless.
