I cant understand why everyone is getting so upset with the BNP being on question time, people say BNP policies are racist, but if you actually read them it never mentions race at all, only "indigenous British" and you can take that many ways. If you have been here 3 generations does that make you indigenous? All this talk about facism and Nazism is crap as well as clearly people dont understand the differences between the two.

The so called impartial BBC has given a damning endightment of last nights show as a back track due to this incompetence and are also to blame for its proliferation.

Nobody actually seems to "know" any parties policies which is where our problems stem from and why our country is going down the pan. The BBC should spend its time educating people for what parties policies actually are and let us make unbiased and well though out decisions.

The reaction to questiontime has only gone to make BNP look better, not worse as it shows these people dont actually want democracy and them themselves want to dictate what we can say and who we can vote for.

It is time for change and until we can get rid of all this political bull and actually have a party that represents what the voters actually want we will be in ever decreasing circles until we go through the plughole at the bottom.

Right, thats off my chest ....

So "indigenous British" does not equal white/caucasian, and thats nothing to do with race? scratchchin

Pull the other one my dear fellow, it has bells on it. smile

If you actually read their constitution it specifically details the white races they consider indigenous.

Well to me Indigenous means anyone that has a grandparent that lived in this country, so no it has nothing to do with race.

At the end of the day if they do think that then they are just stupid and they are their own worst enemy.

Again its very hard for anyone to make good decisions as we only get fed bits and bobs. Far more education is needed.

Good for you, but if you or anyone else vote for the BNP thinking they mean the same when they use the word you are mistaken.

They don't think it, they espouse it.

Who is feeding who what now?? It shouldnt be up to the BBC to educate people on the policies of any political party. The parties all publish their views and policies in something called a manifesto. Rather than sit and wait to be told what partys stand for, perhaps people should get up off their collective arses and do some reading smile

What was that about general ignorance?

We really don't need another thread about this. Have a look here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
