Oh look. It's the mainstream press making up a fake story about immigration again. I'm struggling to remember the last story the press actually reported accurately...

Wasnt a fake story. The cat was part of the presumably picture postcard cohabiting homelife his lawyers tried to portray. So the fact remains that this guy came here illegally and has been alllowed to stay. Would be interesting to know how much tax he pays etc, he might not pay any, but then again he might not take a penny from the system. Still doesnt excuse labours shambolic immegration policy though.

Except the Judge specifically said having a cat has no effect on if he can stay or not.

Judge: Cat doesn't enter into what lets you stay. Very amusing to try it though.
Press: Man gets to stay because he has a cat.

Real story:Man gets to stay because he's in a long term relationship with a British national.
