All of this does filter through into the economy and some of this is a result of banks axing business credit.

Still, it goes to show the depth of the imapct of this recession. Joking aside, there are huge numbers of workers who are not showing up on unemployment figures because they are still, technically 'in work' but who have had their hours and pay decimated. The other week I heard of an engineering works in the Black Country where they were only working 3 days a fortnight.I asked my mum and she told me I had been made redundant.

please tell me the paper got it wrong.
Most likely they copied exactly what was on the paper which was a standard form that carries that Tax & NI notice no matter who it is referring to.please tell me the paper got it wrong.

I did a large paper round once a week and got that much in about 1982.
