"amid fears she had been sold"
"accused of selling"
"Police have not charged anyone with molesting Shaniya"
Still, let's not let facts get in the way, eh? Not really surprising that people are anti-Daily Mail links if their headline doesn't reflect the actual story.

There have been many instances on PH recently where the Death Penalty has been both supported and criticised.
I think a case like this, for those guilty and proved so, justifies its existence.
It is said that the Death Penalty should play no part of a civilised society but you have to question if this act is in any way civilised.

"The man accused of taking her turned himself in on Friday. Police said he admitted to kidnapping the child and has been charged with kidnap.
According to arrest documents, Davis 'knowingly provided Shaniya Davis with the intent that she be held in sexual servitude' and she 'permitted an act of prostitution"
they havnt charged them yet with molestation basically because they have not found the girl yet but they have been charged with other offences .
hopefully them being caught so early will scare whoever has the girls into not dooing anything with her.

Don't think we need to worry. North Carolina is a death penalty state, and the victim is a child. Everyone gets executed.I think a case like this, for those guilty and proved so, justifies its existence.

Its probably not civilised, but do these people really deserve a place in our society under any circumstances? If they serve the time in prison, they just become supported by the society they so wronged. How can that be right at the end of the day? How sick do you have to be kill a child like this?
Most probably committed so the suspect in question could cover their tracks. The child had been plastered all over the news, making the child a major liability to the killer. Giving up the girl would have possibly identified the person, so they obviously took severe steps to ensure that did not happen. Always a risk when the case gets exposed to the media.

Yep but seems a bit daft as the bloke who handed her over is caught. Torture him until he gives th enames up. Although something tells me their DNA will probably be on file already.Pesty said:
