Further proof to our fellow Europeans that we're a nation of yobs. *Sigh*.

The article is not very detailed, could they not have been trying to 'set them free'?

Hmm. They pleaded guilty to it...but after the spate of animal cruelty threads here, I doubt they were innocent.

The privacy laws seem like a sensible idea, crazy how they have that in an ex-soviet-bloc country.

To be a part of the EU they have to implement the brussels directives into their laws. Failure to do so results in a hefty fine.

The same EU legislation is just about the only thing that protects what little privacy we have from our own government.

Brussels got at least one thing right it would seem...

In the week that a Lithuanian throws a dog off a bridge, i can't see a pigeon being thrown into the air going down in history.

A few of them have funny things like working Public Transport and a distinct lack of CCTV cameras too.

The sad fact is these tossers got a larger fine in poland for injuring a pigeon then they would in the UK for assaulting a person

Maybe the bridge dog was used a diversion to take the heat off the other guys, harmlessly practising Pigeonry.
