Doctors to offer climate change advice to patients

Why not have plumbers advising on cancer treatment, chiropodists advising on how to weld a proper seam?

king agenda right at that precise moment in time?! That's right...my carbon fking footprint. In fact, I daresay it'll be somewhere around "I wonder what's going on in "I'm A ing Non-Entity, Get Me Out Of This fking st For Brains Moronic Television Program".
May I politely suggest that everyone fks right off with their ing suggestions on how to reduce my carbon footprint. I hope the actual doctors and nurses on the ground give this idea the undisguised contempt it fully deserves or they may well wind up removing peoples carbon based footprints from their aholes.

I thought it was common knowledge that Co2 was the main cause of tooth decay.

What a clever trick, the majority of people look up to their Doctor as some kind of intellectual superior. People judge the accuracy of information from the status of the informant.
Many people will simply accept that it’s true because their Doctor is a respected and trusted person.
Then they will go around spreading the oft repeated lie. This is how lies become ‘its common knowledge’ from there it’s a short step to them becoming ‘common sense’.

I think anybody who is likely to follow advice from their doctor about climate change, already believes everything they are told anyway. Many people will simply accept that it’s true because their Doctor is a respected and trusted person.

I think I have the answer. The truth is the planet has predetory aliens in orbit. The only chance we have of survival is to project an image of our civilisation than confirms to any onlooker that we are completely insane. This will result in some changes. London will no longer be the financial capital of europe and the EU will run the Finacial and climate change services authority from the Bordeaux region of France. The vinyards of Pauillac will be destroyed tomake new headquaters. The learning and skills council will take over the depatment of higher education and become the Learning skills and climate change council. Leeds University will take over Cambridge and The University of East Anglia will absorb both Oxford and Heidleberg into its new extended Campus. The Radio Communications and Climate change agency will take over all media accross the EU and be managed by an unelected Albanian by 2012. All vehicle manufacturing throughout theEU will nationalised and come under the Department of Public transport and Climate change based in Bulgaria from 2015. All EU car plant workers will die from a mysterious disease, any survivors will be rehoused in the renamed Stalingrad, formerly Milton Keynes. All EU children will work toward the Monbiot award for citizenship issued by the Citizenship, governance and climate change Agency (incorporating the former Qualifications and Curriculum Authority). All Aliminium resources will be recycled by the former CAA renamed the Climate change and windmill production Authority. Climate change deniers will be given the same status as Piedophiles and Holocorst deniers and will be treated at a new institute near Leipzig. This facility will be managed by the Shower construction and Climate change Authority and will incorporate a methane and carbon capture plant. All Europes Royal palaces will be sequestrated and converted into centres of excellence for Climate change managment. The freedom of information act will become the Freedom of information except about Climate Change act and be enshrined in the EU constitution. The Department of congestion charging and Climate change will be disbanded by 2017 as by then the motorist will have lost the will to live.

yeah, like there aren't enough taxes on my fuel and flight tickets at the moment.....We elect politicians to serve the country and apply the will of the majority; so you should be used to having your trust breached.
I’m sure many people come under pressure from their employers to do things they are uncomfortable with. Since the power is generally concentrated in the hands of the government this pressure may prove hard to ignore.
