Just seen a report on the news about the various climate change protests today. Among the various placards and banners were lots of RED placards with "power to the poor" written on them. This proves that these climate protesters are nothing more than lefty communist tramps who are trying to hide they're own beliefs and ideals behind the climate issue (which is nonsence). If these people wish to be taken seriously they should stick to the issue. It just proves that the climate change mentalists are a lot of lefty students who hate anyone with 10p more than them.

It's always students, and crusty ones at that.
I'm sure there is noticeboards in the Student Union planning what the topic of the next demo will be, Gulf wars, Tibet, Eco-balls etc.

Remember the anti-globalisation mob, who used to riot at every G7 conference and demand we all 'save the poor'. Governments vilified them and they were portrayed as nasty threats to public harmony.

They wised up and realised if they changed their placards to 'save the planet', not only would the Governments give them a pat on the back, they'd get a nice chunk of money thrown at them as well!

Yes, we really must ban sunspots and do something about the earth's orbit. Really, it's ridiculous.

That copper to the left just asked her if she wanted to go out for dinner to the local steakhouse - "medium rare, love?"

I just love the irony of that. I thought the whole idea of climate change politics was to repress the poor and keep them down, can't have them developing wealth and consuming and such like. I can understand the greenies being there, but the anti capitalists/power to the people mob should be on the side of the deniers.

Who almost always turn out to have loaded, high flying parents with a nice house somewhere who are simply doing it to annoy said parents before they take a position in daddy's company twiddling their thumbs for £150k a year.

Exactly BG. Thats the thing with communism/anti capatalism that i dont get. The whole "repressed worker struggle" thing, what do they think the said workers want? they want more bloody money and power, and what will they do with this money and power? thats right, spend it on better cars , holidays abroad and homes. Its just so contradictory.

Absolutely it's almost always the idiot, chip on the shoulder/middle class angst, children of the chattering class.

I'm watching it now, and those fkers... "We could go first", yeh right, why should we, I'm all for doing the right thing but why should we be the only one to play by the rules, lead. I don't feel guilty for the problems in the world.

Is it time to counter protest, led by Clarkson and beat the st out of the crusty, anti war, anti capitalist, anti car, anti poverty, anti this, anti that, (middle) "class warriors".
