I wonder how many of them were between him and Blair and certain things they might want hidden. That is of course if they won't be permanently deleted in the interests of national security. The lost emails background - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_White_House_e-ma...

No news link yet on the discovery, but there will be soon.

Do you realize how many people would have to be emailing non-stop for how many years to generate 22 million emails? Think about what you said for a moment. If the word "impossible" comes to mind, you are on the right track. wink

Indeed. I haven't read the link, but I can only assume that it was Bush that was doing the counting.

Don't you hate these people who jump to wild conclusions about the slightest thing?

jester

I wouldn't be at all suprised to learn that George had never sent an email to anybody, let alone been involved in a personal email scandal with Tony!

hehe If my math(s)is correct, there are 4,204,800 minutes in 8 years. Therefore, if 5 people were sending an email every minute, 24 hours a day, seven days a week for 8 solid years, they would reach that goal. Just a perspective. wink

hehe I don't think that many emails involving any presidency from any number of offices occured. ETA: Which of course goes only back to the Clinton Administration, when Al Gore invented the internet.

Read the USA Today news link earlier, or indeed this one - http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-tc-nw-brief...

Or this one - http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091214/ap_on_go_pr_wh...

PS. Referred to as White House, but it should mean Bush administration. That's 1000's of people over an 8 year period. Even if it's only 20,000 people (and there were a lot more than that employed in government) it would only be an average of 137 emails per year per person.
