I wonder what crappy news is coming out? I wonder if this is a bid to blanket over Copenhagen with some scary news about terrorism.

Man made global warming isn't real, they now need to give us more fear.

The only thing I'm scared about is getting brussel sprouts on Christmas day frown

The dissident republican threat in Northern Ireland to kill soldiers or police for Christmas I am truely worried about.

This is probably politics. They wouldnt announce it if they knew anything about it.

Is this a precursor to the Civil Contingencies legislation being implemented?

Wouldn't surprise me at all, these s will do literally anything to stay in power.

Were they really broadcasting it though, or as presented, just covering their backs "in case" by suggesting soem warning to businesses etc. If something did happen and they hadn't at least acknowledged the possibility people would be howling "neglect" etc. They really can't win.

Cynicism and politics aside couldn't it be likely that the (even if tiny minority, the real) nutters who do want st to happen have seen what looks like an easier, less sophisticated, less resource heavy way of hitting out have massive publicity abroad and think it might run here? It's not like guns are in short supply to scum.

I have only ever seen the news report something like this happening before the fact once, and that was when they reported WTC7 had collapsed, and it collapsed twenty minutes later.

That was just very good intel...

And that looks like the first part of the plan to stop further elections with the use of the civil contingency legislation .................... if he's really going to do it properly the follow up attack will be a big one and no doubt will take out a group of people who winky and Lord Palpatine consider a threat (my guess is Griffin or Climate experts)

Not denying (some of) this and the justifiable paranoia that this Govt has provoked but . .

AKs aside (maybe!) I have heard from a very reliable source of a 10 year old kid telling how his dad took him to a pub in Nottingham to buy handguns.

Some of the bouncers I used to train with had illegal firearms, nun chucks and Samurai swords etc. that they'd show off on a Friday night - though that was before the 'new' firearms legislation post Dunblaine.

A colleague got caught up in a gang related shoot out next to a Manchester primary school a few years back. Apparently the teachers had all on trying to get some of the kids inside as they wanted to watch the fun!

The yoof in our cities seem to get hold of enough don't they and I don't see them being sophisticated or well resourced.

It would only take one tooled up nutter to do a hell of a lot of damage if someone suggested this bright idea to them.

Is this like them admitting they've failed?

Since aren't they supposed to be able to prevent any attacks from taking place, thanks to the Freedom Reducing Policies and legislation brought in that allows the Police to be far too orwellian?

So where are they going to get the guns from ?

Can hardly pop down the local market and get an AK 47.

Nothing this Gov't says has any credibility any longer.

This is just an distraction to take our focus away from

Huge debts (and still mounting)
Illegal wars
Copenhagen greedfest
Non existent MMuCC
Removal of freedoms
censorship
Donation of £billions that we haven't got to corrupt countries in the name of fighting a nonexistent threat
and more

Sadly CMD will just take over where Winky leaves off.
