Jack Straw said:
police are 'too lazy' to fight crime
It’s been almost thirteen years since labour came to power, only the hardiest of delusional labour supporters and apologists attempt to blame the government of thirteen years ago for where we are as a country today.

It’s therefore almost comical that today in most of the broad sheet press, our current Justice Minister Jack Straw, has gone on record, stating that the reason we have so little Police presence on our streets isn’t the mountain of paperwork forced onto the Police by labour, but that the police officers themselves are lazy and prefer to be working indoors.

Out of proportion really.

He said SOME prefer to stay indoors.

Is anyone disputing that?

He's not saying ALL prefer indoors.

However, he must've known how the media would react so one of those things you know/think but just don't say out loud....

Good post from Insp Gadget!

If Carlsberg Made Justice Secretaries…………

December 31, 2009 by inspectorgadget

Jack went to a Grammar School – his party oppose selective education..

Jack received a full grant at University – his party brought in student loans.

Jack refused to join the Cadet Corps at school on conscientious grounds – his party have sent thousands of soldiers to war.

Jack admitted using MP’s expenses to claim full council tax bill despite only paying a 50% rate – he is the Justice Secretary.

Jack ordered a review into police use of cautions in Nov 2009 – his son escaped a criminal record by being cautioned for drugs offences in 1997.

Jack thinks Case Files take one hour, and that most policemen want to stay in a warm police station – you choose.

And a good picture of the requirements of a simple 'not guilty' file. And I should point out that each of these forms have to be filled in individually. No auto-complete.

It's a bit of New Year 'trash talking'. Let's face it - after Jacqui Spilff and the last 13 years, I doubt that there is a Bobby on the land (ACPO excused) who would vote for the wkers...so what shouldn't he have a pop at the BiB to show how 'tough' he is.

Forget the fact that the bureaucracy is a ZNL thing; the n thousand new offences; the attempt to have people imprisoned on the say so of politicians rather than judges and with no right to know the 'evidence' against them - very Joe Stalin (the first 'Anti-Terror Orders'); ID cards; arranging for the arrest of opposition MPs et cetera et cetera.

ZNL - the 21st Century fascist government.

Maybe Nu Labour have just succeeded in bringing morale in the Police to such a low level, with all the paperwork and PC bullsh*t, that a number of them have just given up trying to clean up the streets, and just go through the motions of turning up each day.

I know I couldn't carry on doing the job day in day out, if I thought I was wasting my time making an arrest, doing the paperwork, then releasing them back on the street to commit the same crimes again. Repeat cycle ad infinitum.
