Does anyone still support Labour?
Discussion
Except there isn't much evidence that the Tories will actually do that, with Cameron, the wet blanket, and his silly compassionate conservatism.
I actually hope Labour win again and really ruin the country completely, so that we can start again. In the mean time I'm staying out and you're all welcome to it.

Gordon Brown still supports them i think!
Op your statement is the same statement i use when i get into a "what party do you support" debate lol Tories come to power make the hard decision's that no body wants to make after a couple of terms people get fed up let labour in to spaff all the money away etc so the cycle continues ( tories arn't perfect though before PH's start going nuts lol) I'm gonna retreat back to backbenches now and watch the action!.

Personally, I feel like the country is waiting 4 months until the Tories take power, can raise taxes, cut spending and start the process of getting us out of this labour mess. Ummm, very much like every time Labour take power!
Be wary of what you wish for Sarah. It's certainly their turn and if you think the whole country will benefit as a result, you will be disappointed. Maybe you will be an "I'm alright Jack" when they take their turn, but, there will be many others who will not. There are still those suffering from the huge Tory mistakes during their eighteen years of "management".
You see, there's a BIG flaw in the UK voting system. It is this:~

THE GOVERNMENT ALWAYS GETS IN !!!
Wrong forum but never the less. When it comes to ticking the box I recon a lot of people will be thinking the last 10 years hasn't been all that bad. Half the country after all don't work and the state fully supports them and their offspring. If onyl a fraction fo these turn out and tick the Labour box we will have another term.

All the big player options are as bad as each other so if you believe that one is better than the other personally I think your just deluding yourself......
I sort of agree i used to be a strong tory supporter but i just dont think at the moment they are as strong or focused as they should be, there arn't any other options that are worthy either its a big shame actually.I'll still vote though nothing worse than a wasted vote.

IMH it is a pretty weak argument to keep blaming the Conservatives for this country's failing after 12 years in power! Meanwhile they have led us into a war that no-one wanted, ruined our economy and increasingly infringed upon our civil liberties in the name of the 'War on Terror' as well as numerous other cock-ups.I know who I'd rather see in government...

If you mean as in directly benefit. God I hope not. I hope to see certain sectors of society starved/frozen out of existence. If you mean indirectly I suspect you're right, no government has the balls to do the job properly so although we (the useful parts of society) could all benefit we actually wont benefit as much as we could from the change.
Has anybody supported labour for the last 30 years? I think people voted for the new brand of toryism that Tory B liar claimed to have.
Now that people realise It's old labour in disguise tories will get a few extra votes, those that feel cheated will vote liberal, those that feel angry will vote BNP,UKIP and the likes and because these votes arn't going tory, labour will probably stay in power. In which case I want the country to get so f
ked up they never return. like the poster said above.

I have to confess as to being slightly mystified who the 30% are who still support Labour. Surely anyone with a non-state job couldn't possibly vote for this shower of s
te. Could they?
Answer's in your reply methinks 30% of people probably are in a State Job or support by the Government.

te. Could they? But then again as Disraeli or Twain said, "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."
