As with most things these days, it wasnt her fault, so she shouldnt be punished !


FWIW, I dont think even "Junior" Bank Managers fill cash machines ! Not in my day at any rate - a cashier used to do it. Or are all bank workers "Managers" these days?

I would imagine someone else will be for the high jump though, sounds like some internal accounting practices have been seriously compromised there!

I think it's astonishing on a few levels, but particularly that it could have gone on so long.

And she was apparantly under a lot of duress from her then boyfriend, but managed to break up with him and get married to someone else in a farly short period.

It is certainly astonishing that she was not rumbled earlier. We used to get bked for a machine being £20 down, let alone a million!
