Two years for each offense!?!!?

I've seen thugs get away with less than that for kicking ten bells of st out of people.

Two years inside for jerking off into some knickers. He'd have probably been better off just raping his victims!

That's neither here nor there.

It's not as if he put them back filled with spunk. Or crimped one off on their pillows before he left.

He nicked some knickers, took them home and jerked off. The guy's a freak but does that really warrant wasting valuable prison space?

No, of course it doesn't. But its a sex crime, so he's probably a paedophile, serial rapist and necrophiliac in the magistrates mind.

The reality that he is a sad wker, with a distinctive face. Personally I think the public humiliation is adequate punishment.

Does make the sentence given by Cherie Blair to the bod who broke somebody’s jaw in a bank, seem even more lenient!

Oh well, Labour not very tough on crime and couldn’t give a stuff about the causes of crime

Just for comparison, here's an article from todays' local rag;

Blackpool Rag said:
A THUG thought he had killed a man after he launched a sickening att-ack on a Blackpool hotelier.

Mark Holland flew into a rage and repeatedly pun-ched and kicked 67-year-old David Barr, who runs the Burnley Hotel.

Holland, 38, was jailed for eight months by a judge at Preston Crown Court who called it an “extremely nasty and sustained attack” on a man 30 years older than the defendant
But wait... it gets better...

Blackpool Rag said:
At the time of his arrest, at that stage of suspicion of wounding with intent, Holland was recalled to prison because he was still on licence from a 10-year prison sentence for importing drugs into this country.
So, steal some knickers for a ham shank = 2 years inside. For EACH offense.

Beat the crap out of someone whilst still on license after a 10 stretch for drug smuggling = 8 months.

Yes, we're definitely tough on crime.

Or how about this one;

Local Rag said:
A TEENAGER who was more than twice over the alcohol limit had no recollection of stealing his grandmother's car and crashing it into a Jaguar.
Nathan Wilson, an 18-year-old warehouseman at a Wrea Green factory, and of Gregory Place, Lytham, pleaded guilty to the aggravated taking of a Fiesta without consent and driving without insurance and not in accordance with his learner's licence

He was sentenced to do 150 hours' unpaid work for the community, ordered to pay £300 compensation plus £60 costs and banned from the road for 20 months by District Judge Jeffrey Brailsford sitting at Blackpool Magistrates' Court

A lad at my school got expelled for this ...

Most of the UK swim squad were at the school .... the girl swimmers kept getting their knickers nicked when they were training : most of the underwear was later found in this guys locker in his study !

Just re-reading the article, he seems to have gone away for 2 years for stealing unused ladies underwear. I can understand how those which were used could be seen as a perverse sin of the highest order but without any "personal aspect", they are merely pairs of pants.

I'm not sure how much the legal process cost the taxpayer, but I gather the prison costs will be in the order of £70k (averaged out).

£70k for a bloke stealing some clean grundies.... jeez. The wimmen must have been freemasons to get that kind of consequence.

Lady judge with penis envy perhaps?
