This is in the other thread, but I thought it was worthy of it's own topic:
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2852181/...

The Sun said:
A VIOLENT lag was being applauded as a hero by other prisoners yesterday after a "napalm" attack on Baby P's evil stepdad.
The burly inmate hurled a scalding concoction of boiling water and sugar over hulking Steven Barker, leaving him screaming in pain.

Lifer Barker, who is 18st and 6ft 4in, suffered excruciating burns on his face and arm and may be left scarred by the sticky liquid.

But there was no sympathy for him in Wakefield Prison, where he is detested for his role in the death of Baby Peter from abuse.

It doesn't appear to be the most, er, accurate bit of reporting you could find, what with the mentioning of napalm, yet even sugar solution is in question.

Anyway, good. I cannot think of many more deserving victims. Sympathy might be a bit thin on the ground.

Hardly. "Best thing I've heard all day" doesn't even make the top ten!

"The very people congratulating and applauding this attack disgust me. Irrespective of why this man was in Prison, he has a basic human right to life, without living in fear and intimidation. He certainly does not deserve to be treated like this. I hope that his attacker is brought to justice immediately
"

It disgusts me that I have to live in the same country as daft cows like this.

Exactly, the person who attacked him has been jailed for his 'crime'. I am sure the apologists will pop up shortly to tell me that vengance is no way for civilised society to work but anyone and I do mean anyone that can hurt children or stand by and watch while it happens deserve about as much compassion as dog turds.

For me its win win.

One sadistic nutter who is a waste of oxygen gets a lot of pain. One other sadistic nutter gets longer in Gaol and thereofre away from the rest of us for a bit longer.

Lets have more of it.

I say put the fkers in the Big Brother house and stream it online 24/7. Throw in some tools occasionally, like the running man for people that can't be arsed to run.

I'm sure there's movies based on that. Death Race kind of is, and I think the 'Manhunt' game features this also. Then it's "win win win" wink

Two wrongs don't make a right. Except in this case where I felt really quite good about it.
Maybe the apologists have forgotten Little Peter's injuries. Not saddened in the least to see him feel a fraction of the boys suffering.

I like the way the assailant put sugar in the boiling water, you see, it helps it stick to the skin...

He might equally have added washing up liquid, that works too. Maybe try that next time?

VBRJ isn't normally something I approve of, and boiling sugar does create appalling deep burns that will require significantly painful treatment. However, Exceptio probat regulam in casibus non exceptis.

I suspect the guards will also get a bking for letting it happen.
