Anyone heard of this? Of the Venus Project? Or Jacque Fresco?

Was lead to this idea by part three of the Zeitgeist Amendmum film. It's an interview with Jacques interspersed with voiceover. He has some striking ideas, the removal of politicians (and 90% of most professions) is one that I think will hit home, some of the others maybe less so...but it is an interesting idea. Never heard of Technocracy before, but I suppose it was realised somewhat in the social consciousness in Star Trek?

Anyone think that mankind will evolve enough for this kind of dream to happen, or will we wearily replay the same old religious/political/monetary wars over and over again?

A beautiful idea which soon gets detonated by the grenade of "human nature" stuck up it's arse.

As barking mad as any other denialist bullst....like religion.
