The BBC states that the number of immigrants entering the UK from Central and Eastern Europe has continued to fall - immigrants from the EU are unlikely to apply for citizenship because they have a legal right to work here anyway.

Those applying for citizenship would be from outside Europe hence that figure is still rising.

Watched 'The Day The Immigrants Left' and of course it being the lefty Beeb portrayed the immigrants as hard working salt of the earth types and showed the Brits as lazy, thick and pretty well unemployable. But I still can't see why the UK, Ireland and Sweden were the only countries to sign up to unlimited EU immigration, could they not foresee the problem they are creating for the future?
