Unfortunately for the OP, I don't believe the Disabled Student Allowance covers talking out of your arse.

Thankfully it did cover the £45,000 worth of support I've required.

Had a friend at uni who benefitted from this scheme, but its nowhere near 5k. He got a 600 quid acer laptop and some voice dictation software.
