Brown's wife may have voted for the BNP.

You heard it here first.

I wasn't aware that Tories could only marry women who have voted Conservative all their lives.

Should be a good program though, I suspect there's many a clinched Tory sphincter in anticipation.

Wow. What an awesome article. Manages to contradict and nullify itself, all in one short article.

Tory MP in very badly phrased "Cameron's wife is an intellegent woman with her own ideas and opinions" gaffe!

What a stupid article. The only way anyone would ever know how she voted is if she came out and said so, and even then there is no way to check that she did what she said. That is the entire point of holding secret ballots (yes, I know some smart-arse will make a comment about that), that your vote is entirely private and free from external influences.

like a lot of media in that respect, the Mail is usually one of the worst offenders.

Just seen the source for this on C4's Dispatches. As it came from the horses mouth just now, so to speak, in context of how the bloke said it, it was nothing like it's been presented furious

They were talking about floating voters and intelligent female professionals, using Mrs Cameron as an example of the sort of women voter the tories need to appeal to, and in that context the guy simply said that she (Mrs Cameron) may have voted for Labour, but he didn't mean that she herself actually may have voted for Labour, they were talking about a demographic, not her specifically.

Call Me Dave.

I think Dave is actually very close to "third way" and "communitarianism" like Blair, from what I've read and some things he's said.

You could put both of them in either party, but they're probably better suited to Lib Dems.

Cheers for that.

Just had a quick look around and the first thing I happened across was this:

Exactly, what did you think of the programme? I thought it was a fair effort not like the BBC's totally biased jobs.

I enjoyed it. Quite like how the main presenter said something alon the lines of, 'Lord Mandelson in his typical feline way...'biggrin
