Oh FFS. Does anybody know when the rules will change so we're allowed to simply kill the sorts of gits that do this?

Clearly so.

All that's missing is a 'Pull The Plug After Taking the Psss and Washing Your Hands' sign.

She said that the gang of youths had been shouting at him shortly before he collapsed.

"There were these youths at the side of the house bawling and shouting up at the windows," she said.

"The next I heard my husband shout 'there's an ambulance across the road'."

Don't suppose it occured to them to help the poor sod then......the cocks

Police forces not doing enough to tackle antisocial behaviour, survey finds
Police forces in England and Wales are failing to take antisocial behaviour seriously and urgent action must be taken to improve understanding of the toll it takes on communities, the head of the police inspectorate has said.

Would you go out and confront a gang of howling yobs in the street?

Self preservation would stop me - I'm a lover not a fighter.

I would certainly be on the phone to the Police every single time.

This is the very same housing estate Ian Brady and Myra Hindley carried out their horrific deeds from in the early sixties, and the same town Dr Shipman carried out his "work"....

Also the setting for BBC's "Life on Mars"....Perhaps Gene Hunt should come out of retirement.....

I got very emotional reading that news story. That the poor guy spent his last few moments being terrorised is bad enough, let alone the previous years of neglect from the police and his neighbours.

If half the effort and resources that are put into "anti-terror" were diverted into "anti-anti-social behaviour", wouldn't that have a bigger impact on the happiness of this country? Even a tenth would be a help and I'd guess a much larger proportion of people are affected by anti-social behaviour in a day, than by "terrorism" in a decade (excluding fatalaties...).

It's way too late for any of this type of action.

What can the police do? Drag them to the cells for a night, let them go the following morning, and for what? A kid that can now go home to his mates and brag about a night in the cells.

There is utterly no respect for the police, or the 'community' left in most of these people. They'll happily spit in the face of a police officer knowing full well they'll be out tomorrow with nothing too much to worry about.

There is a village near here called ****, a beautiful place, last year they won the Irish Tidy Towns award - no mean feat.

  • ** however has been decimated by the introduction of a few dirty pikey Limerick scum famillies into the area.
Essentially the Council bought up some development properties and moved some 'troubling families' out of the Limerick st holes and introduced them into what was a generally happy and peaceful rural community.

This hasn't worked out very well. People that have been on the community housing waiting lists for **** for
years are now refusing to move there and are (un)happily joining the back of the housing queue in other areas.

Locals are trying to move out, move out after years and years of developing their properties.

So, we see the locals wanting to move out, hard if you've got a few hundred acres of farmlard, no one wants to move in, and the police are too scared/powerless to do anything about it. The courts can't cope, the prisons can't cope, the police know this and want nothing to do with the place, and all because some stoopid council thought 'hey let's give these people a better chance in life, let's move them out of a terrible place and put them somewhere better'.

Needless to say the influx of scum is causing people problems in the area.

Now there are local farmers that I talk to who sleep with loaded shotguns next to their beds.

For the first time in six years I lock my car and house doors at night.

That's right, nearly six years I've had where I would never lock the car or house door at night.

And these (political) wkers tell us 'urgent action is needed, antisocial behaviour must tackled and actions must be taken to improve understanding of the toll it takes on communities'

Damn fking right, I know of no one who doesn't want the lot of them shot and finished with.

Edit to remove the name of the place just in case the farmer vigilanties go ape and trry to sort this problem out themselves.

I agree - such a sad and really awful story. Did anyone see the footage of the type of treatment this guy suffered? Shocking, really horrible and some of the worst i have ever seen. He would throw his attackers money and fags just to make them go away! As for that police womans response that 'they did everything they could' really angered me. This guy suffered decades of abuse yet the police failed to protect this guy. I would love to get my hands on those youths responsible - i would make sure they wouldnt ever get the chance to do something like that ever again.

I don't understand why they carn't link the crimes reported.

I learnt in ICT GCSE's that you can.

Group attributes by name.

Then simple bit of script if blalala shown in same feild as "victim" more than twice then flag up. God is it really that hard ?

I should of made clear, the above is with respect to the police not knowing if people have reported a crime twice.
