I may be getting a little cynical here but FFS, I would be prepared to lay odds that she will suffer a devastating miscarriage a few weeks before election date. This will of course be followed by a heart felt interview from the man himself.

Since Dave really doesn't want to be elected, perhaps he could say she is being a surrogate for a futuristic, unholy science experiment which seeks to clone and hybridise both Blair and Thatcher into one beautiful being.
