Me.The cynic in me thinks it can't hurt but I do not believe that anyone at all concieves to an election schedule. It's tinfoil hat stuff.

It may be convenient (if you think that kind of thing is), but they lost their son just over a year ago, I'd like to think that may have had more bearing on the decision than some perceived gain in popularity.
I wouldn’t put it past any politician to plan something like this; however we'll never know for sure.
It is however as likely, to be a response to the death of Ivan Cameron last year, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time that grieving parents have another child relatively soon after the tragic death of one of their children.
At least the Cameron’s haven’t used a "tearful" televised confession of their feelings, following their son’s death, to try and remain in number 10..........................

Erm as hard as deciding to have unprotected sex in January....not hard at all IMO.Doesn't work like that. She could catch the first week or it could take months.

What a stupid, bitter first post.
They lost a child a year ago. It is a natural reaction to try for another child, not as a replacement, but to bring new joy into a bereaved family. For a couple of their age, getting pregnant is not generally an instant, easy process and can certainly not be programmed to coincide with an election campaign.

What is interesting is that this thread does show how low the opinion of politicians is when people's first thought is that it was planned as an election stunt.
