At last, clap he's dumped the touchy feely nice guy image and come out with all guns blazing. A brilliant response, I hope enough people get to listen to it.

Well, it's got a small audience here in the office.

I don't doubt the BBC will have forgotten all about it by the time the Six o'Clock news is due to go out.

I wasn't that impressed with either Darling or Cameron.

This a nothing budget - designed as a holding position until the additional "real" budget in July.

I have to say that's the sort of response I would have hoped for but didn't expect.

This had better be available to watch later. Our work PCs can barely handle MS Word let alone watching live streams.

He did better than usual.

Picked the budget apart easily and voiced more than a few home truths that even the Labour rabble couldn't get away from as it was from their own budget document... Nicely hidden on page 1,297 in font size 0000.1

There WILL be another budget this year - no matter who is in power after May.

Nothing is 100% certain but every financial pundit in the country thinks there will have to be a much harder hitting budget at some point this year.

Not many people can deliver an attack like that, like him or loath him you have to give him credit as an orator. Made my day too biggrin

It was a fine performance but heavy on political cherry-picking as always.
I certainly won't be voting Labour but don't be too taken in by any of their oratory.

Shysters the lot of 'em.

A good performance.

Cameron is often derided on here, but he can be a very effective politician.

Words, just words, notice how amused the Labour bench was when all their lies were revealed, it means nothing to them
