I think it would be fair to say that a fair few of us have been trained out of this mind set by experience. The snag arises when men are catupulted to serious wealth yet are still pretty naive when it comes to women.
The test of a man is a beautiful woman.
The test of a woman is wealth.
This is fundamental and as long as opportunities arise, you will have beautiful women ripping off rich, naive men and old rich men "taking advantage" of young girls who have yet to find decency in their drives.
Of course, the most interesting people are very rich women who are just slightly less than beautiful.... how can they compete with a man's vanity?
There are only 2 types of losers in the game. Men who have been burned and women who are wealthy, at risk of losing some of their "nest" don't play the game.
IQ has nothing to do with it. The naive will pay, facilitated by a warped sense of "justice" and then they will learn and hopefully not do it again!
