Just listened to the response to the Budget by Ozzie.

I was somewhat surprised by the number of times he said 'gonna' and 'wanna'.

Is this how he speaks or is it some type of Bliarist attempt at demonstrating that he's just a normal geezer?

I'm 'gonna' find it rather tedious if he actually becomes Chancellor to listen to him during the numerous inevitable savage cuts speeches.

Maybe he should get some elocution lessions.

If you listen to Boy George early on in his career his tone and pitch was VERY high. It's no secret that he's had voice coaching and I guess what you'd call it anti-elocution lessons to sound more 'normal' and a 'man of the people'.

The sooner Dave gets rid of this lightweight, the better.

No he's not but the party is stuck with him.

As for Osborne's replacement, I'd have Hague and David Davis taking over Hagues current role.

Hague probably has got what it takes to cut it and keep things genuine with the public.

He's probably the only honest politician there is, which is why it'll never happen.

He is indeed, he can be a very effective politician, and he is showing some fire now. There was an article in the Telegraph about town hall meetings Cameron was doing, where he faced undecided voters in unscripted question and answer sessions. Most of the audience were impressed with him.

Just because he is more centrist than many on here, does not mean he is not a heavyweight.
