So the News of the World have got Calzaghe on tape admitting that he takes cocaine and slagging a few of his fellow sportsmen off. So? He's human, if he was a drunk then no one would likely give a st. How do these parasites live with themselves setting people up like this simply to drag them through the mud?

Those pesky reporters will do anything for a good story to dig some dirt out.

Leave him alone, we're only human.

More a case of 'Boxer is a druggie' who courted publicity to make massive amounts of cash. Play with fire, you get burned.

I guarantee half the people who work at that newspaper snort the stuff anyway so I couldn't care less, why do people bother with the News of the World, it's basically the newspaper version of Heat magazine.

I agree with most of what Calzaghe allegedly said

If he was shilling out to plaster his face all over household products like Tiger Woods, Lewis, Beckham et al do, I might agree. But all he has done is to promote anti-bullying campaign and be in Strictly hasn't he?

Calzaghe is one of if not THE best sportsmen we have ever had. An absolutely amazing boxer who was undefeated and so disciplined he trained all year round, ate the best food, treated his body as a temple!

Good for him for enjoying his hard earned millions - I don't think a bit of coke is an issue it's hardly like he's a drug addict. If some fat bint from bradford doesn't take coke then it doesn't mean she is better than him - he is in far better shape than any of us on here will ever be or could ever be so i don't see the problem

A great, great boxer and seems a great guy
Does he get these drugs from Tesco or is he quite happy to finance low life criminal scum ?

He's no better than someone who knowingly buys stolen goods.

Anybody who takes drugs is a pathetic, weak willed imbecile!

Whether he likes is or not, he's a role model to young kids. What a great example to set.

I like a drink of Guinness. I guess I'm an imbecile then?

So legalise and remove the criminals from the supply chain.

Crikey I've had a glass of wine and my GF has taken an aspirin, clearly we are pathetic, weak willed imbeciles. I'll get the kids taken into care ASAP!

I was waiting for such an inane, asinine comment such as this! If he'd been on heroin or sniffing glue, would you still be saying....."oooh, it's ok really!"

he is a far better role model than you or i elroy blue.

how on earth can you call the most disciplined boxer and possibly the most disciplined sportsman of all time pathetic and weak willed is beyond me.

he is a great man and will go down in history as being one of the best boxers - a line of coke doesn't really affect things in my eyes. Booze is far worse imho even though I do like a drink.
I'm sure the young kids who look up to him will be suitably impressed as well!

Why should you dictate what another individual does with their body? If you are worried about Calzaghe's health have you been trying to get boxing banned?

Just read that back ffs ... what the fk are you on? The same as him probably.

Yes, Calzaghe fought a lot of fine boxers, he also fought a lot of dross. Remember that.

Seems he ain't *that* disciplined if he was on the charlie was he?

Why does taking coke make you undisciplined, who's rules is he living to? Has it caused him any problems? If the NOTW had not gotten involved no one would care and he would still be having a good time enjoying his well deserved retirement.

It amazes me what how blinkered we are towards our more accepted 'social drugs'... as alcohol has wrecked more lives and families than cocaine ever will.
