...According to a Democratic congressman. You can't make this up...

...and PHers wonder why we don't want them running our healthcare.

Well, I'm not quite sure he means it will literally tip over. I presume he is talking about a population tipping point? fk knows? Either way, he is a little too serious sounding when he asks it!

As a bit of balance, here's the lady tipped to be past VP, and future Pres! hehe There are stupid people everywhere!

I like the admiral - "We don't anticipate that..."

He is serious. He thinks the island will CAPSIZE. This video is about to go viral...

This is beyond facepalm material.

That's why he's an admiral and I'm not. After the "getting over the incredulous" stage I would point and laugh until I pissed myself.

As he seems to be struggling to describe something as simple as the size of the island, it’s got to be either a joke or a very very stoned\drunk congressman

One who actually made it to President really thinks that Hawaii had an earthquake recently. Cretin.

Oh by the way, this "Guam is sinking" Congressman is also an AGW disciple.

This gent is on the House armed services committee (which is one of the most powerful in the House) and is responsible for managing certain aspects of the military.

I cannot wait for November!

Was he? You sure? He said "Hawaii, which went through an earthquake"... he never said anything to suggest recently.

He has Hep C:-

The Lithonia Democrat's already-thin frame has shed 30 pounds in the past year. His speech is slower than ever, and he regularly gets lost in thought in the middle of a discussion. He is easily fatigued and often impatient and irritable.

He shouldn't be in there then... Sorry if that is harsh, but if he isn't in 'control' then he should step aside.

Doesn't sound harsh at all. If any of my employees started sounding as confused as that, I'd send them home.
If I were this guy's boss I'd also send him home - who knows how he'll vote if he's having one of his episodes....

He was. Yes I am sure.

In context, I believe it was to do with the Haiti earthquake and the potential tsunami that could have hit Hawaii smile

Erm... Not sure about that. I'm sure it was about how there was money to be available, (in the healthcare reform bill), during a health crisis through a natural disaster. He was simply using Hawaii as an example of a US state, other than Louisiana that had been victim, or potential victim of a natural disaster. The conversation was nothing to do with any other natural disasters anywhere else. It's all about the component of the bill that is being called the "Louisiana Purchase".

We can agree to differ smile
