Not at all . . . other countries have laws which we need to start having a bit of respect for. If they consider drinking beer in public to be that bad then that's their business, not ours and what they choose to do about it is also their business, not ours.

We might like to discuss this with them in a sensible way, suggesting they look again at some of their laws, but if you simply call them a backward nation of dangerously ignorant fools you'll get nowhere.

Don't forget that Malaysia has some of the most advanced electronic design and manufacturing in the world and they are a significant financial force.
