How to win friends. 'Business secretary' attacking Barclays President.

I would have thought that now of all times would be to get the bank bosses on your side.

It made me laugh when he said he hdan't 'earned it'. Uh huh, and has Tony Blair 'earned' his £20fking million? I doubt it!

The stupid people think that bankers are bad so criticism of them might get a few votes. The real truth is the government are even more guilty for this mess than the bankers.

Gosh, I wonder who it was who reduced the regulation of banks, it can't have been this Socialist Govt could it?

I wonder if Handy Mandy would prefer Goldman Sachs......... After all, I am sure who they slate has nothing to do with which company has donated to the scum party/"sponsored" stuff for the scum.

Mr Fondlebum said that the Barclays boss was " socially useless and paid an unjustifiable amount of money"
http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/ind...

I'm afraid that strikes me as being richly ironic.

He's not a silly man. He's a hypocritical . At least Bob Diamond's pay is disclosed. Mandelson has been getting millions under the counter from the likes of Deripaska in the form of payments for political services. He makes Neil Hamilton look like the small-time amateur he is.

Mandelson, you are a crook, so sue me, if you dare.

You're not joking.

On the wrist, people. On the wrist.

Watchverts will already have twigged that that's what £22K looks like.

And another great example of Labour politicians's 'champagne socialist' lifestyles.

Bob Diamond had the foresight to invest his own money in BGI and grew the company from $400m in 1995 to $13.5bn last year - i don't think he has to justify selling his own shares worth £27m - whereas i liked to know what Labour and Mandelson have done for business?

The other own goal that may have some root with Mandy is the Audi poster, revealed by the Microbrands. Cameron's slogan is far better than the nulab variety which (as usual) drips with irony given the youth unemployment caused by Labour's first-in last-out approach to the recession.

I enjoy the Colbert report but I cannot look at Stephen Colbert without a faint wave of nausea due to his visual similarity to the pink prince of darkness. If they are related I think we deserve to be told.
