on your door, what are the main questions YOU would ask each of them.

this isnt a labia bashing thread, but a general indication of what you regard as the key issues.

If there there together at the same time I would ask them each...

...to choose an item from my cutlery drawer and fight it out to the death to decide the victor. (But in the road, not on my driveway.)

Question to Gordon Brown:

Can you run faster than the bullet in my gun?

Question to Clegg:

Can you run faster than my dog?

Question to CMD:

Would you like a cup of tea?

My constituency has an 11,000 Tory majority. I'm fairly sure that I won't be seeing any candidates during the campaign...

Serious answer would be:

Conservative: what are you policies and how can you assure me that DC isn’t a clone of the war criminal known as Blair

Labour: you've had 13 years, what have you achieved that has benefited the people of the UK.......... and I'll slap you in the face with a mallet if you’re lying to me

Lib Dem: Are you going to impose heavier taxation on people who have worked hard for what they have?

My area has a Tory majority too with the Lib Dems the closest to catching them (Labour are non-hopers)

Sadly only the Lib Dems are sending out information on their policies frown

And my questions to all would be

Do you still believe in Man Made Global Warming?

If they answer yes, they'll not be getting my vote as belief in this religion has brought the industry of this country to its knees frown

I am getting so sick of it, I never asked him to get in touch in the first place, and I have been sending them all back, asking, no demanding to be removed from the mailing list, but still they come. If I was being swayed, that would be one thing that would put me off voting for them, if they can't listen over mailing lists, then are they actually going to listen on anything else?

Gordon the mOron Brown "Can you catch a bullet?"
Nick Clegg "And YOU wonder why the Liberals are not popular?"
CMD "If you don't stop your handwringing liberalistic greenwash policies, the UKIP will get my vote"

One basic question: "In one sentence can you give me your core ideology?"

Subsequent questions follow about core policies and how they factor into the ideology. Unfortunately I think most politicians will struggle with the answer to the core ideology question as they no longer stand for an ideology but merely hop around chasing public opinion.

Mine's about 8000 and I doubt I will either: although Ms Miller did turn up the first time.

To Nick Clegg: "How good are you at saying Do You Want Fries With That Sir?"

To Dave: "Do you want another piece of cake with that cuppa tea Gene?"

To the Labour candidate: why don't you just fk off?

To the LibDem candidate: why bother?

To the Tory candidate: why don't you hit Labour harder? "Labour lies" should be a slogan.

Really, joe, have you read a paper recently, read a news site, listened to the radio or watched tv?

1. all the discussion is about Tory policies.

2. your description is accurate, but only if applied to the Labour Party's behaviour.

I have mentioned this before, but I had a knock at the door just before the last lot of local elections.

Young lad stood there.

'Good Morning, Sir, I'm from the Labour party'

'Splendid,' replies I, 'Have you come to apologise?'

'Ah. Err. I'll put you down as a 'no', then?'
