I really don't know if I can face an entire month of 'media meltdown'! The only thing which will sustain me, I think, is that Brown will be kicked out of Number 10. Apart from that, think I'll be avoiding the TV and the newspapers!

And if we don't die of boredom in the next month, we've then got the pleasure (not) of the damned world cup to look forward to.

So the gov't want us to drive 5 miles a week less
Just how many miles will the candidates ( and hangers on)clock up before May 6th?

Fookin hell.....how tedious is this next month going to be.

Can't stand listening to any of the tts. Seems to me that anyone interested enough in politics to become a politician should be drowned in a sack!

I am worried . . . speaking to people at work and friends . . . there are a large number of them who simply don't understand the economy and are planning to give labour another chance . . . they claim there's a world recession so it's bound to affect us . . . they have swallowed the Labour bull*hit and believe it.

This is a sad day . . . how can an election campaign focus on the real issues when the general public simply don't appear to have the mental capacity to understand ? It's like offering kids vegetables or sweets and expecting them to be sensible and not choose sweets.

Ah. Suddenly, it becomes clear. Dumb down and people don't bother to think because it'll be served to them on a plate, then get all clever with the politics and they can't think so just listen to the dumbed down info they do understand.
