I can't stand his style of delivery. The content may be brilliant but I ignore it because his style is so annoying.

I have a mate who speaks like that to control a stammer. Always assumed Peston does the same.

That's interesting. I might have to cut him some more slack then. So often I feel he's patronising the viewers though and he won't get any extra allowances from me for that.

Peston is a pest...

Read up on him... he is from a family of hard core socialists... he loves nothing more than announcing to all that capitalism is dead (and evil)... He is personally responsible for heightening the hysteria surrounding the recession. It's fair to say our econonomy would do better without him spouting his trot twot to the nation!

He has close links with this bunch of creeps too http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Purpose_UK. Worth Googling them too.

That lot have been concerning me for a while now.
Ever since I read this in the Telegraph, they do seem to have their 'tentacles' into every level of government.

Insidious sounding bunch.

Bang on. He was on the trading floor at work about three months ago. How on Earth he didn't get decked is beyond me.

I'm guessing it was in one of the Scottish banks he helped to nationalise?

Strange that he came to the Beeb from the Daily Telegraph. Found his written articles much easier to take in than his spoken news comments.

Watching him on the news last night, I couldn't believe his stunted delivery was accompanied by a one handed gesticulation fest with the other hand residing in his pocket.

Does he suffer from Beadle syndrome?
