Right here's a dilemma for you.

I'm out of the country for the GE. I spoke to my local electoral office who said postal was out of the question because they don't send the postal forms out until 28th of this month because of the closing of nominations. I will be out of the country from 26th.

So I have a proxy form. Does my proxy have to be in the same ward as me? If not, is it a proxy vote by post? In other words does my proxy have to fill in a postal vote on my behalf? The muppets in the electoral office have no idea and 'someone will have to ring you back when we have found out'.

Anyone able to help me out here?
