Looks like my local MP (Crispin Blunt) didn't bother, like nearly all of the Tories

Well done, my MP!

Strictly speaking, he's a tactical vote for me here. But, he'll get it again this time.

My local MP (Tory) didn't trouble himself with voting. Pathetic turnout by the Tories in all honesty; five voted against it, four voted for it and the rest couldn't be bothered. Nine sodding Tories bothered to turn up to vote on a bill which could have huge implications.

Voting against the bill is a libertarian stance, yet it was the Liberal Democrats who voted against it most strongly (eighteen against). Makes you wonder if the Tories actually have any balls or conviction whatsoever?

I despair, I really do. Where were rhe tories?
The more I delve under the surface of this whole election the more I just want to nuke the lot of them and start again with a totally clean HoC. Get rid of career politicians, they are killing our country, and we're letting them

My outgoing MP had already stated in her column in today's local paper that she was supporting it, and also supporting the little heard about Finance Bill which apparently give the Gubberment the legal mandate to levy taxes.

Scum the lot of them, they can't evne be bothered doing their jobs most of the time. And when they do they don't even have the first clue about what it entials.

Mass genocide of the political classes is really the only option.

Best bit of back of fag packet economics Iv read in a long time, on the BBC website, it might actually be the lingering memeory of Newlabour for me, apparantly, and I quote,

'Cutting the software piracy rate from 25% to 15% would mean:
40,000 jobs in the IT sector
Extra £2.5bn in tax revenues
Additional £10bn toward GDP.'

A load of figures pulled out of someones backside, on our national broadcasting website, unbelievable, so someone who currently downloads a film, would automatically change thier buying habits and purchase said film legitimately from amazon or tesco?. These cretins believ thier own hype.

My (con) MP didn't vote.

I wonder why there was such a low turn out from the Tories? I smell a rat.

Timing? Isn't every MPs parliamentary diary available to the parties? If you want to push something through do it when the opposition are almost all away on other duties, like election campaigning, local party meetings, workshops or conferences.
