Curious as to how extreme people think they are- especially those on here who are planning to vote for them.

Would it be a simple no immigration policy and clamp down on non-christian religions rights/objections? a class system based on skin color/religion? only Aryans and rest forced to leave?

I'm not pro-BNP, but that comment is a bit harsh. Do you really beleive they'd be that ecomonically inmept?

The economy would collapse.

They favour kicking out all the immigrants/descendents from immigrants and employing ethnically white people to do those jobs. They would also not import anything and try to keep it all 'in house'. Labour rates will go through the roof, and GB would no longer be seen as one of the worlds financial hubs - that would probably move somewhere else with less draconian laws.

Taxes would have to rise as there would be less tax coming in (due to the outflux), and there would be a shortage of qualified professionals. Without immigration the UK would have to train the local population to do all the qualified jobs, and this might take a while for a generation or 2 to go through the system.

At least you wouldn't see any brown, black, chinese, or mixed-race faces around eh?

Depends how quickly they came to power...

If it was a gradual rise to power, I imagine their views would be moderated over time... in reality the conservatives would move much further to the right and soak up a lot of the BNP vote.

If we wake up on May the 6th with Nick Griffin as PM, there would probably be civil war/large scale civil disobedience in many of the large urban areas of Great Britain. Some form of coup/martial law would probably be the most likely situation.

Neither of these things is actually going to happen though, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Talking about mixed race kids, the BNP see this as a thorny issue and won't admit the fact they wouldn't accept mixed race families in BNP Britain. They would be kicked out as well.

I said it before they are a joke. British fascism just isn't sexy and never will be...look at the state of Nick Griffin.

Fascism needs to be sexy, don't underestimate the power of an almost eroticism. Nazis strutted about in sexy outfits being virile, and Hitler speeches inspired with their power and charisma. Power is sexy. Nazis excuded power.

Griffen otoh looks like he probably has erectile dysfunction.

Have a read of their policies on the economy and read between the lines in terms of globalisation and where the UK sits in the world economy. Protectionist regimes require a lot of money to be pumped into them for them to work. Who pays for that with a decreased tax intake?

We all know accuracy is of far less importance than self righteous indignation when it comes to PH hysterical rants hehe

Not worried about that, just getting barking/stoke council will be a challenge for them.

Just curious if the people who actively support them are in the "nick griffin talks sense, all the other parties are useless" camp and don't belive the Nazi undertones will be revealed as too extreme/happy to be in denial, or "however it happens, I want this country back for us" camp

Well it would at least make a change from the local councils and government agencies employing a vast array of people from different ethnic backgrounds, just to show that they have a diverse workforce (almost reverse racism, but happens all over local and national government sites, where white English background is a disadvantage - although with some of the chavs in this place they might have a point!)

You only have to look at the recent announcements by winky and co on immigration (there was one yesterday about ensuring that only English speaking people were hired for civil service jobs) to see that any further increase in support for the BNP will be tracked and copied by the bigger parties, They have a place in UK politics, but only on the fringes

Just take a look at the areas where BNP Councillors have been elected. I can't really see where they have really contributed anything other than starting the odd fist fight on the rare occasions they have made it to meetings.

Pointless thread as the majority of the BNP vote comes from people trying to send a message to the mainstream parties. There are a few mentally unstable individuals who genuinely believe the BNP could run the country.

I remember having the same discussion reference the National Front about thirty years ago.
