I'd been wondering when and how much. £400K.

I now wonder if he'll think it's worth it?

If you are going to start a thread about a news story, please put a link to it so we can read it without having to go searching around to find out what you are on about.

Sir SuperSpiv was an apt subject for a peerage.

Created by a failed political party...

Bestowed upon a failed businessman....

Whose only prowess is screwing his shareholders...

Probably being a bit over generous there, as his advisers will have show him how to do the stitching up stuff.

My apolgies, it was all over the news, so I didn't think it would need a link.

"The donation is the biggest the peer has made since he gave £200,000 in 2001 and £150,000 in 1997."

"Business Secretary Lord Mandelson said: "Lord Sugar has announced he is making a donation of £400,000 as he has done in previous elections."

FFS can't that odious unsuited gimp say anything without trying to mislead the audience? rolleyes

Anyone know why he didn't donate in 2005?

I used to work with someone who worked in a previous job at Amstrad in Brentwood.

They hardly ever saw him, he was a bit of an ar5e apparently, no-one really liked him and I was told not even his chauffer liked him.
