Please help me, just seen the new 'opinion polls' and seen that most point to a hung parliment with LIEbour as the biggest party, it actually looks as if the morons in this country want another 5 years of winky, we are going to end up as a bankrupt, poverty stricken shambles if that happens, why cant people actually see the thruth?

At least with Labour at the helm when this happens, it should hammer the pt home to the people still voting for them.Puggit said:
Labour with the smallest vote, but largest number of seats.
There will be a constitutional problem.
A very large constitutional problem.
I believe the Queen's advisors will tell her who to invite to try and form a government.
If it was to be a hung parliament....I very much doubt that Winky would be the one to head it.There will be a constitutional problem.

The civil unrest if he was 'appointed' would be extreme....at least I'd like to think it would be.
And besides, as is generally accepted, a hung parliament would just result in another election a couple months down the line.

Don't worry. We are already bankrupt. I'd quite like to see Gordon try to sort out the mess that he has created.

The people don't want the truth. They want to believe that one of the largest structural deficits in the developed world can be closed through taxing the 'rich' and 'efficiency savings'
(when I say poverty, they cant afford the latest LED TVs and the whole SKY package which is everyones god given right)
And of course the welathy wont go, cause they have no-where to go to... blinkers on and think happy thoughts...

Or a different take on the same. The LibDems, who have banged on about PR and representation have, when pressed, stated that they would talk to the party "with the largest mandate" without defining what that means. So Clegg has to consider:There will be a constitutional problem.
A very large constitutional problem.

- Pally up with the least popular, old guard party that historically would be the most logical choice. Also historically, it wouldn't last. How would the people view this, and how much of the new goodwill for the LibDems would it tarnish forever?
- Pally up with the Blair-Lite man in a party seeking deep changes in the way the country works. Set a time frame (3 years?) in which you need to justify the huge amount of trust you have gained. Do it right, and you become the key player for the indefinite future.

Can the queen actually do this? as in choose who to ask, ignoring the election result? There will be a constitutional problem.

I'm scared too.
Cameron is criticised for years of lacking policies, then along comes Clegg who has only a few policies, all of which are terrible apart from the £10k person allowance which is good but unfunded, and suddently a huge portion of the electorate decides to say they'll vote for him because he wrote down the names of people who asked questions in the debate.
I'm close to despair, but clinging to the hope that the Tories can expose the lunacy of the LibDem's policies to sufficient extent to get a majority, with the silver lining of Labour coming in third.

Indeed, it is scary the amount of people who watched 'politics' for the first time and now say they are voting Clegg "did you see him on TV last night"
He is a worrying man. I've said for a good 7 years now that the Liberals are now the Illiberal party!
