Am I missing something?

Probably just being a numpty but just had my postal vote ballot papers come through the post and I only have a choice of 4 candidates, the big 3 plus ukip. I was under the impression that there was more than 4 parties in the election or is this likely to be just for the local election rather than the general election. Apologies in advance for my political ignorance!
Just means that in your constituency, there are only 4 people standing
nothing odd about it, even the big 3 have difficulty getting people to stand in areas where they know they don’t have a chance...............labour and Cambridge east spring to mind, with the village idiot standing for labour

Same as me. Much as I hate to say it, there is only one party I can vote for out of those in a General Election, just to try to stop Winky.AndrewW-G said:
