A number of posters here claimed that wanting to convert Catholics to atheism was a matter of 'compassion'.

I say this is dishonest, and that these people are just Prosthelytizers with no more legitimacy than other ideology/organisation which does the same.

It's exactly the same rationalisation as when the Euro Christians went to Africa to 'save' the Africans from being 'heathens' etc...to 'civilise' them.

Now atheist activists want to do same.

Black Africans of course are incapable of salvation w/out white euro intervention of course!?

Naah, its more to do with concern. When a small child believes in Father Christmas and the tooth fairy its quite charming, but if a grown man does its a bit disturbing. Hence the attempts to get the believers to wake up and grow up.

Speaking of children why don't you go back to school and learn to spell.

I dunno about you, but I am appalled by the gross insinuation that children are immature.

Why don't you just worry about your spelling?
