Seen a fair few go like the picture, the tide at Brean comes in faster than you can run during the spring tide.

They were lucky.

Back in about '92 I saw 4 cars caught in the same tide and all of them were buried in the sand when the tide went out... the only part of the cars you could see was the roof and a little bit of the glass windscreen.

The first time you see it, it is quite a shock... .
