Anyone have an idea of order of magnitude at least? I'm just curious after seeing what seems like half of the UK's police force erect enormous barriers next to my office and spend much of the day standing around in the rain.

Is the ring road still accesible or is the whole campus off limits.

The ring roads got a big barrier across it - they're still letting people wander through on foot at the moment though.

Is that aside from the fact they seem to have cost the UK the ability to judge political policy, and its all down to how "genuine" they seem?

I remember reading that police and security costs to protect Blair at the Iraq Enquiry was almost £300k so I'd imagine something similar here.

£1 million+ for all 3 debates?

How do you judge the cost of traducing the political process and turning it into the x-factor?
