Is Gordon Brown using the RAF?
Discussion
A Chinook is a rare sight over Sheffield.
One flew over yesterday afternoon, having been nearby for quite a long time in a residential area. I could hear the blades slapping about for quite a while, but thought it was farm machinery. I assume it was on the ground.
Now I hear Winky was in Sheffield at the same time....missed him, bugger
Is this a coincidence, or is the RAF ferrying him about on his election tour?
They'd better not be...

It all fits...Chinook on the ground, ticking over and ready for a quick escape from people throwing P45s at him

Winky has to get the bus.
WInky has barely been on the Battle Bus. Which has rather pissed off the reporters who paid £13k each for such closeness to the campaign.Interesting aside - on one of the few times he did climb aboard, the first thing he did was go for a pee. With his radio mic turned on. A week before the Gillian Duffy affair.
This isn't just a f
k up, this is a Gordon Brown f
k up.MBH I'm the other side of the Pennines to you and saw this helicopter heading your way at 7:25 yesterday evening. It seems to have been criss-crossing about because according to another thread it touched down briefly in Huddersfield at about 7PM.
The Prime Muddler was in Manchester yesterday, I wonder if it was to do with soldiers looking after him, which I suppose (begrudgingly) is fair enough.
