As the title, does he get to use things provided for primeminister duties such as cars and planes for party canvassing? Only ask because when Gillygate happened he got into a car NOT a labour bus.

If so can we have him arrested for missuse of said items whatever they may be?

What about the others all using ministerial cars too? I do understand the security implications but why do we buy petrol for him to canvass

We also pay him a salery to be prime minister yet this month he has been doing gordon brown work NOT primeminister work.

He shouldn't but in true Labour fashion they re-write the rules when they deem it necessary - the manifesto launch at the hospital was a typical example.

I unwittingly did this a few years ago when I nipped around the RR on my bike. It accelerated to reduce the gap I was trying to slot into so I gave the driver some verbal... right up until he held his badge up to the window and I clocked his three burly friends staring at me.

Peter Watt (former General Secretary of Labour) said in his book that before Brown bottled the snap election in 2007, Labour had a fleet of (privately-booked) limousines circling Parliament Square ready to whisk ministers off to campaign as soon as the election was announced.

Remember though, unlike backbench MPs, ministers remain in their post until the Prime Minister resigns. They may be doing less work in terms of new policies and major decisions but they're still responsible for their department (not just in the event of emergencies but also keeping it ticking over).

That guy (the protester) had some restraint!

I would have floored the tt with the glasses that came and grabbed his arms if it were me, we still have a right to protest and free speech in this country after all.

The ex-army guy seems to be of the mind "Say your bit and be done with it, I'm not going to interfere unless you start to pose a thread to the idiot on stage there."

Mean while the Labour Nazi assaults the guy

It's for security reasons. I remember John Major used one of the blast proof Prime Ministerial car fleet to travel around in towards the end of the 1997 election. It was a clapped-out green 1980's XJ40 on sagging springs, the same car I think whisked Mrs Thatcher away from Downing Street when she resigned. I wondered why he hadn't been using the newer X300 that I'd seen him in earlier in the campaign... and found out why when I saw Blair rock up to the door of No10 in it on that infampous morning smile Talk about jumping the gun!

I don't know why he hasn't file assault charges on them, they aren't security so they had no licence to accost him like that.

They use all those cars because they are wimps, and because they know they've pissed off plenty of the population of this country

If I was PM I'd have a priministerial Ferrari biggrin
And the Stig to drive it.

hmm

Winky talking on a radio mic in a press conference - all fine

Then, his official car pulls up outside - the radio mic starts cutting out

I wonder...
