Election pamphlet pile - how big is yours?
Discussion
So over the past couple of months, we've had loads of pamphlets, personally addressed letters and all the usual election detritus come through the letterbox. I've kept it just to see how much paper waste each of the parties produce. The current pile is nearing two inches thick.
Least littering parties:
Labour/UKIP/other nutter groups
2nd place:
The Conservatives
1st place - by a HUGE margin:
The Lib Dems. At least 80% of the pile is from Nick C and our sitting MP, David H.
So much for being green - what a waste! Well it would be, but it's all going in the recycling basket on Monday morning.
Anyone not been able to open their front door?

Most of my Lib Doom stuff is just mock newspapers screaming "Don't vote for the nasty Tories".
In fact, they excelled themselves last time by going round to the Tory council leader's house and taking pictures of his untidy back garden, then sticking the picture on the front page of their newsletter with the caption "Would you vote for a man whose garden looks like this?"
Excellent. I do love local politics.

One : from the Tories. Arrived yesterday.
Basically said "Look, you've voted for me for while now, may as well do it again".
In such a blue safe seat it's unfunny.
Much the same here...Basically said "Look, you've voted for me for while now, may as well do it again".

Had one leaflet from the Tories diplomatically saying 'don't vote Lib Dem, they're nutters'.
I don't think I've even seen a Labour poster on my travels. That gives me such a warm feeling inside!!

I haven't had a single one. I guess that's a result of living somewhere that will blindly vote labour regardless of what they do (for example, our MP is Kevin Jones, the defence minister who recently felt the wrath of Joanna Lumley regarding the Gurkhas - bet he still maintains his massive majority).
I seem to have just got s
tloads from the Conservatives, the others only one or two leaflets. Twice the Conservatives have come round dropping stuff off and then 10 minutes later another person has come round and dropped off the same leaflet. One chap dropping off leaflets also had his mate follow him round in a car while he walked, clearly doing it the PH way.
